Gynecomastia is a malformation of the male’s breasts provoked by hypertrophy of the mammary gland, an excess of fat or both.
It can affect one or both breasts.
Surgery to correct gynecomastia consists of the removal of the tissue that causes the problem, with or without liposuction.
