Tuberous breasts
Tuberous breasts are breasts that have undergone abnormalities in their development.
The tissue that covers the mammary gland becomes excessively rigid, causing changes in the gland which give the breast a tubular shape.
Corrective surgery for tuberous breasts consists of remodelling the shape and position of the mammary gland to give it the natural, cone shape of the breast.
This surgery can be complimented by the placement of implants, if necessary.
